Fetch by Giant Pet Wellness

Fetch Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Fetch accesses from Google, what Giant Pet Wellness uses it for, where it is stored, how long it is kept and with whom it is shared.

1. About Fetch

Fetch is a private analytics and marketing-intelligence platform operated by Giant Pet Wellness for its own internal business operations. Giant Pet Wellness built Fetch for its own team, and Fetch is used to understand the company's marketing performance, attribution, advertising spend and creative performance.

Fetch is not offered for public registration, is not sold to outside customers, and is not a Google product. Access to Fetch is limited to people Giant Pet Wellness authorizes.

Fetch does not ask members of the public to sign in with Google. This public information site collects nothing: it sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no third-party scripts or fonts, and has no forms.

2. Google services and the information Fetch accesses

Fetch connects to Google Ads using credentials that Giant Pet Wellness controls, and it reads only Google Ads accounts that Giant Pet Wellness owns or is authorized to access. The Google Ads connection uses a single Google Ads authorization scope, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. Google does not publish a narrower read-only scope for the Google Ads API.

Where the Google Ads API returns them, Fetch's current Google Ads integration accesses:

This is advertising account and performance information belonging to Giant Pet Wellness. It describes the company's own campaigns, its own creative and its own spend.

Fetch can also be configured with read-only connections to other Google business services that Giant Pet Wellness owns, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Merchant Center. Fetch never writes to those services. Where such a connection is enabled, the information it returns is used for the same internal purposes described in section 4.

3. Information this integration does not request

Fetch's current Google integration does not request access to:

Fetch does not ask any member of the public to sign in with a Google account, and it does not receive Google account information about visitors to this site or to Giant Pet Wellness's storefront.

Giant Pet Wellness has not enabled upload of hashed customer data to Google, including Google Enhanced Conversions, through Fetch. If that changes, this policy will be reviewed and updated before the feature is turned on.

4. How Google Ads information is used

Giant Pet Wellness uses the Google Ads information Fetch retrieves for its own internal business purposes:

Giant Pet Wellness does not sell Google Ads information obtained through Fetch. It does not use that information to serve advertising for third parties, and it does not make that information available as a product or service to outside customers.

5. Storage

Google Ads information retrieved by Fetch may be stored in the private Fetch application database, which Giant Pet Wellness operates, for the internal purposes described in section 4. Stored records include the advertising account, campaign, ad group, ad, creative and performance information listed in section 2.

The credentials Fetch uses to reach Google are stored separately from this reporting data and are encrypted at rest before they are written.

6. Retention and deletion

Giant Pet Wellness retains the Google Ads information described in this policy for as long as it is needed for the internal reporting, measurement and analysis functions described in section 4. Advertising measurement is compared across periods, so historical reporting records are kept rather than discarded on a fixed schedule.

Google Ads records held in Fetch are associated with the Fetch store record they were retrieved for. When that store record is deleted, the associated records, including the stored Google credentials, are deleted with it.

Giant Pet Wellness does not claim a fixed number of days after which all Google Ads reporting data is automatically erased, because Fetch does not currently apply one to this data. Requests about specific information can be sent to the contact address in section 10.

7. Sharing

Giant Pet Wellness does not sell Google Ads information obtained through Fetch, and does not transfer it to third parties for those parties' own advertising or marketing purposes.

Access within Fetch is limited to Giant Pet Wellness personnel and the partners the company authorizes to work on its marketing and analytics, who use it only for the purposes in section 4. Fetch runs on infrastructure and hosting services that Giant Pet Wellness engages to operate the application and its database. Those providers process the data only to provide that hosting and infrastructure to Giant Pet Wellness. Information may also be disclosed where Giant Pet Wellness is required to do so by law.

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

Fetch's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if Fetch materially changes how it accesses, uses, stores, retains or shares Google data, and the date at the top of this page will change with it. A new category of Google data, or a new use of existing Google data, will be reflected here before it is put into use.
